ABOUT US
Founded in Bogotá in 2017, Fundación Ideas Futuras was created to manage and support projects, organizations, and initiatives that generate social, environmental, and economic value for Colombia.
Our work focuses on project design, environmental education, conservation planning, fundraising, partnerships, and strategic support for initiatives that protect biodiversity, water sources, rural territories, and community knowledge.
We believe that local environmental action becomes stronger when it is organized with clear objectives, measurable indicators, technical support, and long-term partnerships.

OUR MISSION
Fundación Ideas Futuras supports the design, funding, implementation, and dissemination of projects that protect ecosystems, strengthen communities, and contribute to sustainable development.
We work with local organizations, community leaders, technical experts, and institutional partners to transform environmental challenges into practical initiatives with clear methodologies, measurable results, and replicable models.
Our mission is to help communities protect biodiversity, restore ecological functions, monitor water sources, and build stronger relationships between society, nature, and the future economy.

Ideas Futuras works through alliances. We collaborate with community organizations, environmental leaders, academic and technical experts, public institutions, donors, and nonprofit partners to design and support projects with social, ecological, and territorial impact.

We support local and rural organizations that protect water sources, biodiversity, native vegetation, animals, and community territories. Our role is to help organize ideas into projects with methodology, indicators, budgets, and implementation pathways.

We work with environmental, biodiversity, agroecology, georeferencing, education, and data professionals to strengthen project design, monitoring, restoration, and evidence-based decision-making.

We seek collaboration with foundations, donors, public institutions, private organizations, and cooperation programs interested in supporting conservation, environmental education, community leadership, and sustainable territorial development.
